I believe that fostering student engagement and critical thinking is fundamental to ensuring learning that lasts beyond the classroom. To achieve this, I employ a student-centered approach that emphasizes active learning techniques and prioritizes two-way feedback.
To help students grasp the essence of concepts and theories, I connect them to real-world applications through lectures, in-class activities, and assignments. Beyond utilizing examples, I make the concepts more tangible and spark interest in the supply chain and operations field by offering opportunities to engage with industry practitioners.
To accommodate students' unique learning styles, I diversify class materials by applying Bloom's taxonomy and implement inclusive course design. I believe that fostering inclusion, beyond achieving diversity and equity, is essential in teaching. Inclusion is not only important in supporting the learning needs of a diverse student body but also in enhancing the learning outcome.
